"description": "En este proyecto se capturaron en una base de datos electrónica las colectas de peces de la parte mexicana de la cuenca geohidrológica del río Bravo contenidas en la Colección Ictiológica de la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, Monterrey, que incluye cuencas satélites como los ríos y lagunas casas grandes, Santa María, Carmen, Bavicora, Nazas, Aguanaval, Parras, Santiaguillo, así como las cabeceras de los ríos Yaqui y Mezquital, que faunísticamente son sus derivadas. Se incluyen 4256 registros de 214 especies, representadas por 428,051 ejemplares, colectados entre 1958 y 1992, con adiciones a 1995. La información esta siendo revisada, ampliada y actualizada con datos de literatura, para su publicación como un atlas.
