It is housed in the biology department at University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, in the new Chemistry and Biology Building. Starting in 1969 with one cabinet of about 1,000 plant specimens in 1969, he and Dr. Frank W. Bowers built this herbarium to its present size, with over 230,000 specimens.
