The Morton Arboretum Herbarium's Vascular Plant Collection is the largest collection in the MOR Herbarium. Currently, there are over 190,000 specimens. The Herbarium's foci include plants of the Chicago Region, woody plants of the Temperate Zone, plants of The Morton Arboretum, and genera of research interest (e.g. Quercus, Carex, Tilia, Ulmus).
