The Claude E. Phillips Herbarium (DOV) at Delaware State University is the only public herbarium on the Delmarva Peninsula and houses over 150,000 specimens of vascular plants, ca. 35,000 specimens of bryophytes and 3,600 lichens. DOV’s collections span more than 200 years of botanical exploration in Delmarva and the neighboring states and include representative flora from other parts of the U.S. and the world.
